His influence definitely reached international waters, shaping artists who just want to rock it out. Described as "arguably the greatest instrumentalist in the history of rock music" by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the man is a pioneer and a legend - with a slew of honors including "World Top Musician of 1969 and in 1970" by Disc and Music Echo, "Rock Guitarist of the Year" by Guitar Player, his records making it to Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time", and ranking as one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

"Hendrix pioneered the use of the instrument as an electronic sound source. Players before him had experimented with feedback and distortion, but Hendrix turned those effects and others into a controlled, fluid vocabulary every bit as personal as the blues with which he began," Holly George-Warren of Rolling Stone shared, as the man is largely credited to be the first musician to use various effects and techniques such as stereophonic phasing effects.

"A soft-spoken man allowing his instrument to truly be his VOICE — channeling all his frustrations and pain through this vessel. I’m so honored to pay homage and respect to such a Giant and key contributor to my musical biological makeup."
